Pixelmator

So I’ve heard about this photo editing app that is supposed to be a simpler, cheaper version of Photoshop. Since it was on sale for only $14.99, I decided to give it a try. I used it to stylize an engagement picture I shot for my friend’s upcoming nuptials and was happy with the end result. See below for the picture in question. A few more sample photographs will be added to my wedding/engagement section under the “Photography” tab later this week after I’ve had the chance to edit some more shots.

A Picture A Day, A Thousand A Day

So my extremely talented photographer friend David Wells came up with the idea of taking a picture every day to improve his photography.  I thought this was a great idea, and as I have been wanting to improve my own photography, I decided to join him in this challenge.  We will be taking pictures every day, and posting our best one to the blog daily.  The goal is to produce a picture that’s “worth a thousand words.”  Anything is game for a subject–people, landscape, sports, still life.  Stay tuned to the blog to see what will be coming!
